Clerklands is a beautiful loch of around 4 acres in size and is up to 25ft deep in places. It is a very tranquil place to fish and have a relaxing day.

It is set within the Riddell Estate, which lies about 5 minutes drive from Selkirk and about 10 minutes from Hawick.

Time travel from Edinburgh is around 1 hour and from Newcastle around 1 1/2 hours.

There is a good stock of brown trout for sporting purpose only and rainbow trout are stocked regularly up to double figures in size.
